1.
Let's be someone that we'd like to be Train our mind to think the thoughts they'd think Be good models for society We can pretend They'll never know Cast our shadows in a different light A constant in life's inconsistency Fake it 'til you make it, I believe We can pretend They'll never know
2.
Memory Ends 04:19
The postman leaves our letters by your door To be placed upon the shelves of evermore Warm light beams through your windows every morn Then it slowly moves across your dusty floor The Light is gone When memory ends Rememberiing the games you used to play As your mind and body go their seperate ways Does the memory of your birth come back again I imagine the shock is overwhelming The light is gone When memory ends One day the postman passes by your door While inside our letters spill across your floor

Station 04:32
Ballyhoo And insipid conversation Sabotage My mental meditations Gliding into the station Now my head's Filled with hogwash and earworms I long for old Frequency modulations Gliding into the station
4.
March on in luxury You're on the hit parade Jet streams and radio waves You're on the hit parade I feel better Conquer and celebrate You're on the hit parade Grand marshall serenade You're on the hit parade I feel better We should give, more than take It's an honest mistake Float by on accolades Your'e on the hit parade This is the perfect day You're on the hit parade
5.
Quarantyne 03:35
She touched my face there Fore I was too near It's hard to breathe air With Quarantyne here She's there all alone They're all alone My temperature sears My body shakes with fear While I lay down here With Quarantyne dear She's there all alone They're all alone
6.
Supernatural 05:46
Afloat and fighting In emerald seas Bobbing under I breathe in deeper Sirens singing Reach for me Hopeless warnings About the waves of history She said the harder they come She said the harder they fall Hope and pray for Delivery From this supernatural Endless battery She said the harder they come She said the harder they fall

about

On Friday, April 21 2023, Custard Flux performed in front of a packed house at Montrose Saloon in Chicago. It was the opening night of the International Pop Overthrow Festival hosted by David Bash, and our first gig with new drummer Nick Pruett. Bassist Timothy Prettyman had a prior engagement and Brian Arvo did a splendid job of filling in. I hope you enjoy our electric renditions of these songs as much as we did playing them.
